Ingredients
  

Sandwich Base

  • 2 slices bread Choose your preferred type
  • 2 slices cheese Mozzarella, Cheddar, or Swiss
  • 2 slices salami Or other preferred protein
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp milk For creaminess

Seasoning & Garnish

  • 1 pinch salt To taste
  • 1 tsp dried parsley For garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (356°F).
  • Place one slice of bread on a baking tray. Layer with cheese and salami.
  • Whisk egg yolk with milk and pour over the cheese and salami.
  • Season with a pinch of salt and sprinkle dried parsley on top.
  • Cover with the second slice of bread and bake for 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and golden.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
